Sales and Marketing Officer - Solar Rooftop Plants

Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and target-oriented Sales and Marketing Officer to drive lead generation and sales closure for Solar Rooftop Plants in both domestic and industrial segments. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in sales and marketing within the solar industry, with a proven track record of generating leads, nurturing relationships, and closing sales. They should be adept at leveraging their industry connections and market knowledge to identify opportunities and drive business growth.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to generate leads and drive sales for Solar Rooftop Plants.
2. Identify and engage with potential customers through various channels, including networking events, industry associations, and digital platforms.
3. Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and trends, and tailor sales pitches and marketing messages accordingly.
4. Build and maintain a robust database of prospective customers and track leads through the sales pipeline.
5. Collaborate with sales and technical teams to develop customized solutions and proposals for customers.
6. Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and site visits to showcase the benefits of Solar Rooftop Plants and address customer inquiries.
7. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
8. Monitor and analyze sales performance and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
9. Stay informed about industry developments, competitor activities, and market dynamics to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements:
1. Proven track record of success in sales and marketing roles within the solar industry.
2. Strong network of contacts within the solar industry and a demonstrated ability to generate leads and close sales.
3. Proficiency in sales techniques, lead generation strategies, and CRM software.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders.
5. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and driving business growth.
6. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Location: Panjim, Goa

Employment Type: Full-time
